I know you have been waiting. I will admit that I am guilty of being a bit mysterious about what I am working on, but I have finally decided to give a small spoiler of my book. Enjoy, and check back next week for another glimpse!!

Ansley is anything but typical. She knows she is special, but most people would argue she is not.

To any passing observer, Ansley lives in the farmlands of Terra with her family and enjoys the beauties of the rolling plains and mountains surrounding her. She even thinks her life is perfectly ordinary, at least for one of her heritage.

Her training is nearing its end, and Ansley is preparing herself to inherit those skills handed down through her family for generations. She is eager, but her family’s training has made her confident in herself and what lies ahead.

Then, when tragedy strikes, she is forced to face a new future-one that is full of uncertainties, strangers, and danger to herself and any others who possess similar skills.
